We will show the works of the 2 artists, Szelit Cheung (b.1988) and Yoshinori Niwa (b.1982).

“How do we remember a space from the moment we enter, to the second we step out? Do we remember it by the paint on the wall, the marks on the floor, the dust afloat in the air, a streak of light at a point in time, or a glance back for a split second? I have been contemplating the relation between the concepts of space and vacancy, also on how spaces are remembered. I try to present the other facets of the void.” Szelit Cheung

“In the present day, when every individual is connected to the economic system beyond national borders, the new coronavirus has brought the world to the edge of self-destruction. My artistic practice is based on the performance of absurd actions assigned by the artwork’s title. It questions the meaning of the existence of humankind under capitalism.” Yoshinori Niwa
